I recently contacted la roche posay to ask if there are any animal-based ingredient in this product and got the response that it does'nt, atleast the European version of it. The touch-free spray further prevents contamination My current routine is speedy mo gentle oil cleanser (I wear makeup and spf so I have to double cleanse), the vanicream gentle cleanser, I then wait about twenty minutes and apply Differin, and then lastly I use the La Roche Posay Cicaplast balm. So the gel is nice as an occlusive layer for wound healing, more like a spo treatment, but i don't find it as valuable for irritation and soothing. And it isn't moisturising. Also it is more expensive than the baume. cutetinam • 3 yr. ago. Thank you so much for your reply!
